I know the things he gave me a heart of leather daffodils gone to seed Starlight flickers on new glass an understanding falls on unsealed pavement and poplar trees Bring me to my knees under a sun without color my lungs without blood Three sparrows on the fenceposts air turns liquid in your opening hand two sparrows on the fenceposts I am a body of elbows and spleen I am a soul of fears and learned behaviors I am on neither side of my skin Only now is it now is it now is it now is it now is it

about

"OBSCURA" was inspired by the beautiful Woven Screens series of sculptures by Rachel Mica Weiss (rachelmicaweiss.com/wovenscreens).

"unsung" is a slowly drifting tapestry of words and acoustic and electronic sounds.

"Coruscation" was first performed alongside a text by J. Martin Daughtry, focusing on an image of the heat from a crematorium chimney disturbing the air of a brilliant Florida afternoon.

These pieces all have video components, which you can see at youtu.be/QfbzbDTT7Gs.
